Yaeko Kurimata hosted SALON Tokyo, a gathering of the best international Decorative Painters & Artisans. For one week, the extremely creative SALON participants who are experts in trompe l'oeil, gilding, faux bois and marble and scagliola displayed their work and demonstrated their creative skills to each other and the people of Japan.
Tokyo, Japan, is the one of the most interesting places in the world to explore unique cultures and arts on your own. Salon Tokyo included many exciting opportunities to share thoughts and techniques with Japanese painters who specialize in theaters, commercial painting and public murals, and the traditional crafts of Japanese artisans.
